Glenglassaugh Portsoy is a peated single malt Scotch whisky, named for the neighbouring harbour village that inspired its maritime character. It is matured in sherry, bourbon and port casks and bottled at 49.1% in a 70cl bottle.
The colour is deep amber. The nose brings maritime waves with tropical fruit, sherried dark soy, port, liquorice and sea kelp. On the palate it is full-bodied, with dark chocolate, fermented soy, charred mango, treacle and a crack of sea salt.
