Glenglassaugh – Portsoy Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 49.1%)

Glenglassaugh Portsoy is a peated Highland single malt, bottled at 49.1% in a 70cl bottle. It takes its name from the neighbouring harbour village of Portsoy, which inspires its deep maritime flavour. The whisky is matured in sherry, bourbon and port casks. It is described as full-bodied, with the peated spirit balanced against the sweetness of the oak and a rich coastal character. The distillery has stood on the edge of Sandend Bay since 1875. It was silent for more than 20 years before its stills were brought back to life in 2008.
