Glenglassaugh – Sandend

Glenglassaugh Sandend is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenglassaugh Distillery, named after nearby Sandend Bay, whose crescent shoreline lies close to the distillery. It is matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry and Manzanilla casks. Manzanilla is a coastal Spanish sherry, and it adds a saline freshness to the distillery's fruity spirit. The whisky is described as bright and refreshing, with tropical fruit, creamy sweetness, gentle spice and a subtle maritime influence.
