Glenglassaugh – Sandend (50.5%)

Glenglassaugh Sandend is a Highland single malt named after Sandend Bay. It is matured in three types of cask: bourbon, sherry and Manzanilla. That combination brings fruity, rich flavours alongside maritime notes, which the source of the name and the coastal Highland climate both shape. The nose is buttery and pastry-like, with vanilla, fruit and chocolate, then a light salty touch. On the palate there is salted caramel, pineapple, cherry and grapefruit. The finish is sweet and still strongly fruity.
