Glenglassaugh Sandend is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in bourbon, sherry and manzanilla casks, and the flavour is described as moving over time towards tropical sweetness with a hint of sea salt.
The nose is soft buttery vanilla ice cream with tropical fruit, chocolate and a touch of sea salt. On the palate there is salted caramel alongside bright pineapple, cherry and grapefruit, with a coastal note running through it.
