Glenglassaugh Sandend is a single malt Scotch whisky named after Sandend Bay, where the Glenglassaugh distillery stands. It is bottled at 50.5% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in bourbon casks, sherry casks and Manzanilla sherry casks.
The nose is fresh, with apricot, vanilla ice cream, pineapple, malt, oak and a salty note. The palate is creamy, with salted caramel, exotic fruit, more malt, vanilla and grapefruit. The finish is on the sweet side, with a touch of nuts and a little pepper.
