This is a 15 year old Highland single malt from Glengoyne, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery sits at Dumgoyne, just north of Glasgow.
It is matured in first-fill sherry and bourbon casks together with hand-selected refill casks. The marriage of these casks lets the light, fruity house style come through.
The nose brings fresh hay, dried fruits, citrus and rosehip. The palate is gently sweet with a hint of tropical fruit, cinnamon, vanilla and apple, and the finish is smooth and dry with soft spice and lingering oak.
