Glengoyne 18 Years Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, aged mainly in first-fill European and American oak sherry casks. The distillery stands at Dumgoyne, just north of Glasgow. Much of its depth, colour and flavour comes from that sherry-influenced wood, which gives a deep amber hue and a full, silky mouthfeel. The spirit itself comes from a fermentation of more than 50 hours and a slow distillation, and is fruity, delicate and elegant.
