A generous proportion of first-fill sherry casks shapes its character, which is fresh, malty and spicy, with a rich mouthfeel.
The nose offers red apple and ripe melon, moving towards hot porridge with brown sugar. The palate is full-bodied and round, with macerated fruits, marzipan and walnuts, then warm spices, dry cocoa and Seville marmalade. The finish is long, warm and dry.
