Glengoyne – 25 Year Old (70cl)

A 25-year-old single malt from Glengoyne, matured exclusively in hand-selected sherry casks for a quarter of a century. It is bright amber in colour and comes in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is packed in a heavy bottle with a slim metal stopper, inside an oak box with an engraved pedestal. On the nose there are red berries, old leather and brown sugar. The palate brings soft oak, cinnamon and stewed fruit, with a touch of Seville orange marmalade, and the finish is very long with spicy liquorice.
