This is a 25-year-old Glengoyne single malt from the Highlands, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured exclusively in selected sherry casks, mainly first-fill European oak. The tasting notes describe a light amber colour, with red berries, leather, brown sugar and raisins on the nose. The palate offers gentle oak, cinnamon, stewed fruit and a touch of bitter orange marmalade. The finish is very long, with spicy liquorice, drying slowly.
