Glengoyne Legacy Series Chapter Three is a 2022 single malt bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. This third release in the series celebrates Sir Arthur John Tedder, Glengoyne's excise officer. The whisky was matured in sherry casks of American oak in the warehouses at the distillery. The nose combines deep sherry with cinnamon stick and vanilla, then mixed berry jam and apple strudel, with a little pear. The palate is rich and chewy, with warm, plump raisins and spiced buns giving way to tarte tatin and smooth cream sherry. The finish is long and fruity, with pineapple.
