Teapot Dram Batch No. 9 is a limited release of Highland single malt from Glengoyne, bottled at 58.9% ABV. It is one of 3,500 bottles, matured exclusively in first-fill European and American oak sherry casks, including Oloroso. The name comes from an old distillery tradition in which workers were given three fingers of whisky, three times a day. Younger staff would quietly pour unfinished drams into a copper teapot on the canteen windowsill for older colleagues. The range has stayed deliberately bold and sherry matured since its launch. The nose offers apple strudel with almond flakes and chocolate-coated raisins. The palate brings sticky toffee pudding, dates and spice, and the finish adds rich sherry and tropical fruit.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
