Glengyle – Kilkerran 16 Year Old Batch 23/90

Kilkerran 16 Years Old is a Campbeltown single malt from the Glengyle distillery, matured in bourbon casks. This is batch 23/90. The character is bright, spicy and tropical, with touches of gentle smoke and savoury coastal notes. The nose offers shortbread and lemon zest, white flowers, cut grass and dried herbs. On the palate, a hint of dried apricot leads into earthy peat, with peppery spice, biscuits, more herbs and a pinch of brine. The finish is mineral, balanced by ash and waxy peel.
