A twelve-year-old Lowland single malt from Glenkinchie, distilled in 2013 and finished in an Oloroso cask, cask 12352875. Duncan Taylor selected it for the 50th anniversary of Kirsch Import.
It is a single cask bottling of 95 bottles, at 53.5% ABV, with natural colour and without chill-filtration. The distillery stands near Pencaitland in East Lothian, about 25 kilometres south-east of Edinburgh, and the sherry finish brings spicy depth to the light Glenkinchie spirit.
