Glenkinchie – 12 Year Old (70cl, 43%)

Glenkinchie 12 Year Old is a Lowland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is described as light, fragrant and appetising, which makes it a natural choice as an aperitif or at the start of a meal. The nose is floral and aromatic, with noticeable vanilla, cut flowers such as daffodil, blossom and a touch of lily, and a clean, toasted note beneath. On the palate it grows sweeter and creamier, with a slightly aromatic edge and fresh citrus that recalls lemon cheesecake. A little water makes it creamier and more fragrant still.
