Glenkinchie 12 Year Old is a Lowland single malt in a 75cl bottle. It is the core expression from Glenkinchie, a Diageo distillery known as the Edinburgh malt.
The spirit is made with tall copper pot stills and worm tub condensers, and it is described as floral and grassy rather than peated.
The nose is gentle, with fresh grass, spring flowers, cereal grain and a hint of citrus. On the palate come honey, fresh barley, vanilla and subtle oak. The finish is short and delicate, fading to clean cereal.
