Glenkinchie – 2007 The Distillers Edition 2019 (70cl, 43%)

This is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky from Glenkinchie, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2019 at 43% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. After its first maturation it was given a second one in Amontillado sherry casks, which adds depth to the distillery's fresh character. The nose combines fresh malt, apple and citrus with almond and a subtle sherry note. The palate is soft and balanced, with honey, light spice and a nutty touch, leading to a dry, elegant finish.
