This is the 2020 Distillers Edition of Glenkinchie, an official distillery bottling at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to Diageo's Distillers Edition series.
The whisky was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2020, after a second maturation in Amontillado sherry casks.
Pastry, pear, caramel and nuts show on the nose. The palate is soft, with apple pie, nuts, vanilla and oak, and the finish is fairly dry with a hint of chocolate and vanilla.
