Glenkinchie – The Distillers Edition 2019 (70cl, 43%)

This is the 2019 Distillers Edition from Glenkinchie, an official bottling of the Lowland single malt known as The Edinburgh Malt. It was distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2019, at 43% in a 70cl bottle. After its main maturation, the whisky was double matured with a finish in Amontillado sherry casks. The nose is fruity, with green apple, grapes, cereal and flowers. On the palate come full fruit flavours, with exotic fruit, orange, vanilla, grass and herbs. The finish is fairly long and dry.
