Glenlivet – 12 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

Glenlivet 12 Year Old is a Scottish single malt made at the Glenlivet distillery in Speyside. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle, chill-filtered and with added colour. It is usually described as soft and mild, with a light sweetness and more fruit and flowers than smoke or peat. The nose is fresh and fruity, with green apple, pear and citrus alongside flowers and honey. On the palate come fresh citrus fruit, lemon and orange, with touches of vanilla and caramel. The finish is fairly long and warm, lightly spiced, with oak and notes of cinnamon or ginger.
