An 18 year old Speyside single malt from Glenlivet, bottled by the distillery at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is fine and aromatic, with oak, sweet honey and ripe orchard fruit such as pears and apples. The palate opens warm, with malt sweets and bittersweet oranges, then vanilla from American oak and a pleasant dryness. The finish fades slowly with sweet vanilla and gentle wood spice, and a subtle echo of fruit.
