A Glenlivet distilled in 1938 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in the 1980s under the George & J.G. Smith's label. It is bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. The nose is full of tropical fruit, with pineapple, overripe banana and fruit syrups, then cigar box, rancio, candied citrus peel and coconut. On the palate a little smoke comes with old rum and cognac notes, mango peel, creamy coconut and old orange liqueur, and the texture is viscous. The finish is dry, tropical and herbal.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
