Glenmorangie – 12 Years Old Lasanta

Glenmorangie Lasanta is a 12-year-old Highland single malt, distilled in the distillery's very tall stills. Its creator, Dr Bill, the distillery's director of whisky creation, set out to capture a sunset in a bottle, with its horizon of reds, oranges and violets. The nose offers spice, milk chocolate with raisins, honeycomb and caramel toffee. The palate is complex, with spice, sweet raisins and warm sherry notes, joined by pieces of orange, walnuts and a little butterscotch. The finish is long, with spice, a hint of orange and chocolate-coated hazelnuts.
