X by Glenmorangie (70cl, 40%)

X by Glenmorangie is a Highland single malt bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Glenmorangie began in 1843 in a converted brewery and was rebuilt in 1887. It stands in Tain, in the northern Highlands, and has a reputation for never having sold its whisky to blenders. It is also known as The Sixteen Men of Tain, after an old rule that sixteen men should always make the whisky there. The distillery owns its own woods for casks and has played a large part in developing the use of different woods and cask types. It is owned by Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy.
