Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban is a 14 year old single malt from the Tain distillery in the northern Highlands, an original distillery bottling at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was founded in 1843 in a converted brewery and rebuilt in 1887. Its whisky has a reputation for never having been sold to blenders. Glenmorangie owns forests that supply wood for its casks, and it is also known as the sixteen men of Tain, after an old rule that sixteen men should make the whisky there.
