Glenmorangie Elementa is a 14-year-old Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 100cl bottle. It matured in bourbon casks, then moved into heavily charred, almost blackened new oak casks for finishing.
The result is a rich malt with honey, fruit and spice running through it.
The nose is rich, with summer fruits such as nectarine, nutty praline, spiced chocolate and creamy almond. Honey coats the palate alongside red fruit jam, fresh citrus peel and English toffee. The finish has a little bitter wood, balanced by the return of the honey.
