Glenmorangie 16 Year Old Nectar D'Or is a Highland single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks, then transferred to French Sauternes wine casks, which once held sweet dessert wine, for a finish.
Honey, lemon curd and warm pastry mark the nose. The palate is silky, with white chocolate, apricot tart and gentle oak spice. The finish is long, with honeycomb, roasted almond and golden raisins.
