Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban is a 14 year old Highland single malt in a 750ml bottle. It is first aged in bourbon casks, then finished in ruby port casks, which add a chocolate depth to the distillery's smooth style.
It is non-chill-filtered, which is said to give extra aroma and mouthfeel.
The nose is dark mint chocolate, tangerine and Seville orange with sandalwood and walnut, ending in pepper and nutmeg. The palate is mint chocolate and walnut, then rose, Turkish delight and sweet Seville orange. The finish is long and silky, with dark chocolate mints and a trace of orange.
