Glenmorangie – A Tale of the Forest (75cl)

Glenmorangie A Tale of the Forest is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 750ml bottle, and the first Glenmorangie made from barley kilned with woodland botanicals. Dr Bill Lumsden, the distillery's Director of Whisky Creation, revived an old method of kilning barley with botanicals, choosing juniper berries, birch bark and heather flowers. The nose brings pine, juniper and coriander with wisps of smoke. On the palate there is eucalyptus lit by bitter orange, leading to a slow, gently oaky finish.
