Glenmorangie The Cadboll Estate 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV after chill-filtration. It is the distillery's first single estate whisky.
The barley was grown on the 440-acre Cadboll Estate near the distillery. Dr Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangie's Director of Distilling, Whisky Creation and Whisky Stocks, chose the type of barley and the malting specifications. The spirit then matured for 15 years in first-fill American oak ex-bourbon barrels.
The nose is oaky, with biscuit and citrus. On the palate it is creamy, with butter, white chocolate, pears and menthol.
