Glenmorangie – 16 Years The Tribute (1L)

Glenmorangie The Tribute is a 16 year old single malt in a 100cl bottle. It is a lightly peated bottling, made as a nod to the distillery's past and the historic use of a peat-fired kiln. The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon casks and aims for a balance between subtle peat smoke and the distillery's familiar spice, cream and vanilla. The nose is floral, with spring meadows and fresh-cut grass, gentle peat, charred oak, citrus and caramel cream. On the palate come soft vanilla, creamy lemon cake, salted almonds and tobacco, with peat smoke in the background. The finish pairs shortbread-like caramel and lemon drops with hints of smoke and lively oak.
