This is a 12-year-old Scotch single malt from Glenmorangie, aged in bourbon and Calvados casks. It is the distillery's first whisky matured in French Calvados casks, which the distillery says adds new, mellow depth to its orchard character.
Glenmorangie dates its history to 1843, when William Matheson and his wife Anne founded the distillery.
The nose is gently fruity and floral, with jasmine alongside baked apples and pears.
