Glenmorangie – Dornoch Limited Edition (70cl, 43%)

Glenmorangie Dornoch is a limited edition Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is named after an estuary near the distillery. The fruity sweetness of the Glenmorangie style meets sweet smoke and nutty, dark fruit notes, which come from a finish in Amontillado sherry butts. The nose has baked apples and pears with nut, oak and sweet smoke. The palate is lively and sweet, nutty again, with darker dried fruit, baked apple, toffee and a little smoke. The finish is medium in length and lightly floral, fruity with citrus and vanilla.
