Glenmorangie – Dornoch

A limited-edition Highland single malt from Glenmorangie, finished in Amontillado sherry butts. The distillery's lively citrus and floral character sits alongside a faint, sweet touch of smoke and rich nutty notes, which come from the Amontillado finish. Its colour is a pale gold. On the nose there is sweet honey, vanilla, toffee and citrus, with floral notes and light sweet fruit. The palate is sweet, fruity and spicy, with a hint of smoke, roasted nuts and a subtle tart, fruity edge from the Amontillado. The finish brings sweet vanilla, citrus and a little spicy oak, turning dry.
