Glenmorangie – Duthac

Duthac is a Glenmorangie single malt made by marrying ex-bourbon casks with two different finishes: malt finished in Pedro Ximenez casks and malt finished in fresh oak. It belongs to the Legends series, which draws on Glenmorangie's home in Ross-shire, where Saint Duthac is buried. The colour is light golden. The nose is spicy and nutty, with toasted oak and pear, and sweet touches of candied apple and toffee. The palate is full and spicy, with milk chocolate, toffee, Brazil nuts, leather, aniseed, ginger and cloves. The finish is sweet and vanilla-led, with apricot, cream and marzipan.
