Glenmorangie La Santa is a 12 year old Highland single malt bottled at 43% ABV. It starts from the same spirit as Glenmorangie Original, matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks, and is then finished for two years in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain.
The nose has warm spices, chocolate-covered raisins, honeycomb and caramel toffee. The palate is sweet, with sherried sultanas, orange segments, walnuts and butterscotch. The finish is long, with spiced orange and chocolate-covered hazelnuts.
