Glenmorangie Lasanta 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. The name is Gaelic for warmth and passion.
The whisky matures first in bourbon casks and is then finished for two years in Spanish sherry casks, Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez among them.
Tasting notes describe a nose of raisins, orange zest, cinnamon and dark honey. The palate is velvety, with sultanas, hazelnut praline, spiced dark chocolate and sherry-soaked figs. The finish is long and sweet, with clove, brown sugar and orange marmalade.
