Glenmorangie Lasanta is a 15 year old single malt in a 75cl bottle. It spent ten years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then a further five in Oloroso and PX sherry casks from Jerez in Spain. Lasanta is Gaelic for warmth and passion. It is non-chill-filtered, for added aroma and mouthfeel.
The nose combines warm spices with chocolate-covered raisins, honeycomb and caramel toffee. On the palate come sweet sultanas, orange segments, walnuts and butterscotch, with warm spices. The finish is long, with spiced orange and chocolate-covered hazelnuts.
