A 16 year old Highland single malt from Glenmorangie, finished in Sauternes casks and bottled by the distillery at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose offers brioche, wine and apricot, with vanilla custard, roasted almonds and chestnuts. The palate is rich, with baked apricot, raisin bread, roasted chestnuts, spice and a note of oak. The finish is long, with lemon peel, freshly baked bread and a trace of honeycomb.
