Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It develops its rich, spicy, dessert-like flavours in hand-selected wine barriques from Sauternes, and it is non-chill-filtered.
The nose combines lime and orange rind with sultanas and dates, laced with coconut and nutmeg. On the palate there is ginger, nutmeg and toasted almonds, around a middle of syrupy lemon meringue and honeycomb.
The finish is long and sweet, with lemon zest, white chocolate, vanilla and traces of ginger and nutmeg.
