Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban is a 14 year old single malt, also described as the Port Cask Finish.
It was first matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels, then given an extra maturation in Ruby port pipes selected from the Quintas, the wine estates of Portugal. Extra maturation is a wood finishing technique pioneered at the Glenmorangie distillery.
The port pipes give a complex balance of sweet and dry flavours.
