Glenmorangie – Quinta Ruban 14 Years Old

Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban is a 14 year old Highland single malt from the distillery at Tain on Scotland's east coast. Glenmorangie's whisky maker, Dr Bill Lumsden, is regarded as an authority on distilling and maturing, and is especially known for his work on how wood maturation shapes the whisky. The nose is dark mint chocolate with mandarins, oranges, sandalwood and walnuts, plus a touch of pepper and nutmeg. On the palate come mint chocolate and walnuts with roses, Turkish delight and sweet oranges. The finish is long and silky, with dark chocolate, mint and a hint of orange.
