Glenmorangie Spìos is the ninth release in the Private Edition series, which has brought a new limited-edition single malt each year since 2010. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It is the first Glenmorangie to be matured entirely in casks that once held American rye whiskey, and it takes its inspiration from the golden era of that style.
The palate has a spicy texture, with toffee, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg and sweet, buttery vanilla.
