Glenmorangie Tale of Winter is a 13 year old single malt bottled at 46% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The whisky was finished in Marsala wine casks from Sicily. Dr Bill, Glenmorangie's Director of Whisky Creation, conceived it while snowed in at home, aiming to capture the feeling of sitting by a fire while snow falls outside.
It opens with light fruit and honey, moving on to cocoa dust, red pepper and brazil nut toffee. The finish is long, with cinnamon, ginger and clove.
