Glenmorangie – The Lasanta

Glenmorangie The Lasanta is a single malt that spent ten years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then a further two years in Oloroso and PX sherry casks from Jerez in Spain. Lasanta is Gaelic for warmth and passion, a nod to the Spanish origin of the Oloroso sherry butts and to the whisky's soft texture and sweet aroma. It is described as elegant yet full bodied, with a deep, sweet nose and a luscious, soft palate.
