This is Glenmorangie The Original, a 10 year old Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It was first released more than 175 years ago and has long been known for its mellow tones and delicacy of flavour.
The spirit is made in the distillery's very tall stills and matured for ten years in bourbon casks.
In the glass it opens with a rush of citrus, followed by layers of flavour that run from orange to honey and creamy vanilla, with bursts of peach.
