Glenrothes is known for a slow distillation that gives a fruity, honeyed spirit.
The nose offers dried fruits, vanilla custard and honeycomb, with baking spices and a little oak. The palate is full-bodied, with orchard fruits, toffee, dark chocolate and cinnamon over nutmeg and gentle oak tannins. The finish is long and warming, with spiced orange, sweet malt and a pleasant oakiness.
