A single cask Glenrothes from 1999, bottled by the distillery itself at 52.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a Speyside single malt. The distillery sits in the town of Rothes and dates from 1878. On 15 May 1922 a fire destroyed its Warehouse No. 1 and the more than 2,000 casks inside it, and the burning whisky flowed into the Burn of Rothes, right through the village. Glenrothes belongs today to the Edrington Group.
