A 2008 Glenrothes from Speyside, bottled independently under the Simply Good Whisky label. This single malt is in a 70cl bottle at 50.2% ABV. The distillery stands in the town of Rothes and dates from 1878. In May 1922 a fire destroyed Warehouse No. 1 and more than 2,000 casks of whisky, and the burning spirit ran into the Burn of Rothes through the village. Glenrothes is now owned by the Edrington Group.
